Lemon Spicy Shrimp Linguini
3 tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup grass fed butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1 lemon (zest and 1/4 cup juice)
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
Himalayan Pink or Sea Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
12 extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbs. chopped fresh parsley
1 pound organic linguini, cooked and drained
 
Add olive oil and butter to a large skillet or
saucepan over medium heat, once butter is
melted add the garlic and sauté for 30-40
seconds. Add red pepper flakes, old bay
seasoning, lemon zest, lemon juice,
chicken broth, salt, and pepper, bring to a
simmer. Add shrimp and cook until opaque
and cooked through, approximately 2 minutes
per side. Add the cooked, drained linguini to
the shrimp mixture, toss well. Place pasta
onto a serving platter and garnish with fresh
parsley and several lemon slices. You can
drizzle a little extra olive oil to the pasta right
before serving if desired.
